Well, well, well….it looks like the market tanked today (the end of October) as the ETF-Cashinator and all the data was hinting.  No surprises here if you’re paying attention as the ETF-Cashinator just don’t lie and no it didn’t break a gasket. Lol!  It’s cold sleek unemotional computational prowess just can’t be beat!  So what’s in store…check it out:

Note:  Next week is the Federal Reserve FOMC and anything can happen so be careful trading next week!

In anticipation of the 80th year anniversary of the great crash in 1929, I’ve run the ETF-Cashinator to see what the world looks like today.   We’ll see what happens over the next few days.  Here’s the Google link.

The talk of the town over the weekend is the bankruptcy of the largest commercial lender out there Capmark so we may be headed for that “W” recovery after all.   The first leg up is complete and now we may be in for another leg down.   The ETF-Cashinator is late because I was a bit busy this weekend but here it is nonetheless.   Here’s the google link.

It’s October expiry and only two more expiries for the year!    Looks like the put volume and premiums on ETFs have gone up quite a bit.  Either people are buying insurance or betting these ETFs will be dropping in value.   More likely though it’s simply a volatility play since it is still pretty high.

Here’s the online link.

What a great rally.  I took the opportunity to cash out from my former employers 401k account as the account had recovered over 80% of losses.  In other news, I’m posting the ETF-Cashinator results for today since it was such a great rally.  I’m still skeptical that this will last and a correction is an inevitability at this point but I’m getting closer to returning to trading heavily into ETF Covered Calls.

Here’s the link.

I’m also experimenting with publishing, click here to see the published link.

It’s often amazing how people expect accurate prediction to the hour, minute, second on what’s going to happen with this market.  Yeah, the market is up this week just like it was up 48% right after the big crash during the great depression then it went on to plunge another 80% a few months after that. I’m not saying that this will happen again but it’s more likely, in my opinion, than a giant rally but anything can happen.   Right now, the ETF-Cashinator is showing a great deal of volatility and that does not foretell any stability in the market.     Here’s the report:

Well..well..well cracks are starting to form in the market just like the ETF-Cashinator hinted ;)    Actually, I ran the ETF-Cashinator today and it looks very scary.  There has been an explosion in premiums on puts, meaning people are buying insurance on the market or planning on profiting from a drop.   The call premiums look wild and crazy through all of 2010 and I’m not sure what to make of it.  In any event, here is the report and please note that the BBH options seem to be out of whack.      I am experimenting with Google Docs and I have uploaded the FULL ETF-Cashinator file at the link.  Please provide feedback if you like or don’t like.
