I sold 5 contracts on my 500 existing shares of EWZ today at $2 to rake in about $1000.00.    I sold the December 85 strikes so we’ll see what happens over the next 24 days.   This represents a 2.38% return in 24 day time period.   I made this move because EWZ may pull back and if it pulls back heavily, I’ll buy back my options and sell January 08 calls.

I sold XXXXX in my arbitrage account to rake in $1,031.00. I sold 11 contracts at $0.95 for December at-the-money expiry. The fed will meet on December 11th so it’s anyone’s bet as to what will happen.  This will be a 2.68% return in under 25 days.

Raked in $300 on my UNG holding by selling Dec $42 calls (UNGLP) in my mini-account. Market volatility is STILL through the roof and UNG may drop back down but with old man winter knocking at my door, demand will certainly go up for natural gas.

There is still a great deal of volatility, pretty much every ETF has decent options profit for December expiry and I’ve only posted the 1st page of the covered calls and the naked puts but pretty much all of them have some high premiums. With the market dropping and very volatile it’s anyone’s guess as to what happens next. I will say I am VERY tempted to buy SSO and sell December calls out-of-the-money for a tidy profit but I’ll decide that next week.

What a spectacular week!  Since last expiry, I’ve pocketed $6000 in profits.   The volitility is absolutely amazing.  The ETF-Cashinator is working overtime crunching numbers.    It actually kicked out pretty much every ETF out there as a profitable play for the next 30 days.   There is so much fear and uncertainty out there that anything can happen.   My hope was to move to cash but I’ll likely try to lock in $4000 next month.

My mini account looked depressed without any attention over the past couple of weeks so I decided to dive back into UNG again and picked up 300 shares at $41.75 and sold November $42 calls for $1.20.   Raked in $345 in profit (2.8%) in under 8 days!
