I think FXI (China) has stabilized so I got in at $98.00 today and sold May $98 strike calls for $6.00 and made $600 (6% return). Not bad for 60 days out but we’ll see what happens. In other news, my SMH $35 Calls that I sold last month expired worthless so I’ll have another opportunity to sell calls in the future and rake in more cash.

It was a brutal week but you can’t say you weren’t warned.  Too many people got too greedy (as usual) and got burned.  It’s never good to see people suffering so to cheer you up, I’m posting this week’s ETF covered calls along with ETF Naked Puts.   I use the ETF Naked Putinator to give me some indication of some possible troubled areas.  For the past few months FXI was so red hot in the Naked Putinator that I stayed away from trading Covered Calls on them.   FXI is still hot along with a few others.  Check them out and be careful out there!
